Special Natural Monument Akiyoshi Cave

Akiyoshido Cave is one of the largest limestone caves in Japan. The cool air that touches the skin is always cool, and the temperature remains constant at 17 degrees Celsius throughout the year. It is cool in summer and warm in winter, making it a pleasant place to visit. It evokes great emotions in our hearts.

Mine City Fossil Museum

Mine City is one of the top fossil producing areas in Japan. The Fossil Museum, located about a 5-minute walk from Mine Station, exhibits vertebrates, ammonites, and insects, which are likely to interest visitors among the various fossils that have been unearthed.
